Born on beautiful autumn day in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.

At the University of Massachusetts-Amherst earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Thought and Political Economics. Then earned a Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) with a concentration in Cultural Diversity and Curriculum Reform. Afterwards, I came to work at Chukyo University in April 1996. I have been working as a co-coordinator of English-language skills classes in the College of World Englishes and the Learning Support Wing.

My main field of interest and research has been and continues to be finding ways to build more opportunities for students to use English in and out of classes at Chukyo University.
